About Me
LOOKING BACK, MY HORMONES HAVE PLAYED A PART IN EVERY TWIST OF MY LIFE.
I first became aware that there my hormones were out of balance during my early 30s. Although eager to start a family I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was determined to do everything I could to get pregnant and started to get into healthy eating . After four years we conceived my son through IVF. We soon longed for another child. Another few years of medication and dashed hopes passed until I sought help from a Nutritionist. Even though I was a healthy weight I discovered that I might be overdoing the exercise as having some body fat is important for fertility. After just six weeks of supplements and eating more healthy fats I became pregnant with my daughter.
THE SPEED OF THESE NATURAL
CHANGES FELT MIRACULOUS.

INSPIRED BY THE POWER OF NUTRITION I WENT BACK TO UNIVERSITY TO LEARN MORE

In my early 40s I qualified as a Nutritionist. Around the same time I started to become stressed and irritable. Despite my training it took me a while to realise that I wasn't just busy,
my hormones were out of balance.
With my nutrition knowledge, I have bounced back with nourishing food and self-care. Frustrated and sad that so many women struggle and juggle their way through menopause, I wanted to help. For my MSc dissertation I designed and ran a 14 day nutrition and lifestyle programme for 45 perimenopausal women. The results were impressive and fuelled my passion for supporting women to make simple changes that can make a huge difference.
PERIMENOPAUSAL WOMEN IMPROVED THEIR SYMPTOMS BY AN AVERAGE OF 36% IN 14 DAYS.
I was a Humanitarian Aid-Worker for over twenty years, working with people affected by war and natural disasters from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. I designed nutritionally balanced food packages for war affected Ukrainians and managed emergency feeding programmes for malnourished children in Eritrea. I am highly experienced at finding innovative solutions to meet people’s needs in fast changing situations. I have worked extensively with international leaders to strengthen their organisations and am a collaborative and supportive manager, leader and team player who loves to learn from and empower others. I will always be a humanitarian at heart, working in some of the most challenging places in the world have shaped my empathetic, practical approach to supporting my clients and deepened my understanding of organisational wellbeing.
To unwind I love yoga, cooking (and eating!), family bike rides and exploring the hills around Bath.
I have an MSc (distinction) in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Worcester. I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I help women over 40 to leap off the hormone rollercoaster and rediscover their joy.
